Men’s Intervention to Gender Inequality: What can be done?

Özyeğin University and the Initiative for Critical Studies of Masculinities invite you to an online panel discussion  organized jointly with the Consulate General of Sweden in Istanbul where our Rector Prof. Dr. Esra Gençtürk will deliver the opening address.  The panel discussion "Man's Intervention to Gender Inequality: What Can Be Done?” will put the spotlight on the studies which explore men’s participation in promoting gender equality and fighting against violence in Turkey. During the online panel, the Violence-Free Men’s Workshops project team will introduce their new handbook and open it up for a discussion within this framework. Later on, AÇEV, HeForShe and UNDP Turkey Goodwill Ambassador Mert Fırat will talk about their ongoing projects.
