You are kindly informed to welcome the General Coordinator of Anatolian Grasslands, Ms. Yasemin Kireç as the guest speaker of the seminar series.

Ms. Yasemin Kireç was born in Istanbul in 1982. She studied sociology and anthropology. She took “Introduction to Permaculture” and “Permaculture Design Certificate” training at the Permaculture Research Institute of Turkey in order to educate herself on permaculture, natural life, and ecology, which she has been interested in as an amateur since her university years. Afterward, she said goodbye to corporate life and completed the "Integrative Management" training held in the Anatolian Grasslands application area in Çanakkale in the summer of 2015. Ms. Yasemin Kireç is on a constant journey between Gökçeada, Çanakkale and Istanbul. In addition to being the General Coordinator at Anatolian Grasslands, she is a beekeeper with 50 hives and continues to play an active role in various initiatives. Also, she participates in local producer-prosumer meetings and tries to act as an intermediary in the sharing of knowledge and experience. She works with the Wheat Association. To date, she has held training and activities on Introduction to Ecological Life, Applications of Ecological Life in the City, Urban Gardening, Seed, Beekeeping, Deep Listening, and Nature Awareness with adults, youth, and children. She continues to work passionately in the field of restorative agriculture and to walk towards the age of repair with confident steps. Ms. Yasemin Kireç currently continues to work as the General Coordinator of Anatolian Grasslands. Ms. Yasemin Kireç is going to make a presentation about “Beyond Sustainability: Regenerative Agriculture” in the Seminar course.
