The Sustainability Talk “What’s This Thing We Call Climate Crisis?” will feature Öykü Şenlen Gündoğan, researcher for Fossil Fuel Transition at E3G, a UK-based think-tank. 

Gündoğan’s current research interests are focused on climate change and transition into a low-carbon economy. During the talk, Gündoğan will provide an overview of international climate regime and climate negotiations, and open for a discussion the questions “What does the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) say about current issues pertaining to climate?” and “What happened at ‘COP26’?. Gündoğan will also share with the audience the importance of coal, which is her field of study, within the context of climate.
