You are kindly informed to welcome the President of AKTOB, Dr. Erkan Yağcı as the guest speaker of the seminar series.

Dr. Erkan Yağcı, who was born in 1979, graduated from the Tourism and Hotel Management Department at Bilkent University in Turkey. After several successful experiences in various fields of tourism management during his career, Dr. Erkan Yağcı’s passion, to have a global view and understanding of the sector, lead him to the USA where he completed his MBA degree. He had the chance to bring his management skills to perfection while being responsible for various projects including business strategies, performance, and benchmark analyses. Additionally, he holds a Ph.D. degree in Tourism and Hotel Management. Dr. Erkan Yağcı became a member of various International and National Tourism Organizations. He brings excellent management and analytical skills as well as great insight into the operational and quality standards aspects of the business. Dr. Erkan Yağcı has also merited several awards from national as well as international tourism entities. He is currently the president of AKTOB (Mediterranean Touristic Hoteliers and Investors Association) and an Executive Member of the Board of Concorde Deluxe Resort. He is also a Member of the Board and Responsible for Press-Media Relations of TGA (Türkiye Tourism Promotion and Development Agency). Dr. Erkan Yağcı is going to make a presentation titled “Tourism at Post-Pandemic Era” in the Seminar Course.
