Mr. Murat Güllü was born in Istanbul in 1988. After completing his primary education, he studied at Nişantaşı Anatolian High School for his secondary education. Then, he graduated from the Department of Political Science and International Relations at Yıldız Technical University. Mr. Murat Güllü completed his higher education in Food Management at the University of Surrey in England. He wrote his master's thesis on "Succession Planning in Family Businesses in the Baklava Industry in Turkey."

Mr. Murat Güllü learned the art of baklava production from the masters at Karaköy Güllüoğlu in his childhood. After managing various processes in the company, he now serves as the 6th generation representative in the General Manager position. Mr. Murat Güllü continues his research on the Güllüoğlu family history and the history of baklava, along with his work on new product development. He gives presentations on innovative transformations of traditional baklava at gastronomy and university events.

Mr. Murat Güllü is married and has two daughters.

Mr. Murat Güllü is going to make a presentation titled "Baklava, a Bridge Between Tradition and Innovation".
