Biography: Katelyn Cassin, Ph.D. is a Sessional Professor for the School of International Development and Global Studies at the University of Ottawa and a Research Associate with the Peace and Local Knowledge Network (PLKN). Her research focuses on the relational interfaces between international peace and security interventions and conflict-affected communities and individuals, with regional focus in the Middle East and Lebanon particularly. She has an ongoing series of articles on the implications of the changing world order for international security governance, and teaches in international relations, peace and conflict studies and international development.
