Sena Artarslan (MSc. IE) works as an analytical consultant under the Supply Chain Directorate at KoçDigital. She provides consultancy services by blending her knowledge in both machine learning and optimization to develop algorithms used in clients' supply chains and integrating them into their processes effectively.

With the contribution of the elective courses she took as a senior at Özyeğin University, she developed a simulation model to test the efficiency of being an agile team at RDC Partner as an internship. In her senior year, she contributed to the predictive quality project that predicts defects in glass production with machine learning. After completing her undergraduate studies, she pursued a master's degree in Industrial Engineering at Özyeğin University, where she also served as a research and teaching assistant. During her graduate studies, she worked as a teaching assistant in the Mathematical Modeling and Exact Methods course. Meanwhile, she conducted research on a version of the Inventory Routing Problem under the scope of TÜBİTAK 1001 and successfully completed her thesis on the same topic. She had the opportunity to present her thesis project at the POMS Conference in France.

After completing her master's degree as of September 2023, Sena continues her career journey in business life and provides consultancy to Turkey's leading companies at KoçDigital by developing solutions that optimize supply chain problems.

İrem Karamete (IE) was the captain of the fencing team of the university for 5 years during her student life and won many Turkish Champion titles for the university. She became the first fencer to represent Turkey after 32 years by qualifying for the 2016 Rio Olympics while she graduated from the university. Benefiting from the opportunities offered by the university as well as her heavy sports life, İrem had the opportunity to do a summer internship at GAP company within FIBA Group and Amsterdam Credit Europe Bank (CEB). 

As soon as İrem graduated from Özyeğin University, she completed her master's degree in Global Marketing Management at Boston University. Completing her American adventure, İrem moved to Italy in 2019 to prepare for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and represented our country in the olympics twice. 

She is the president of the Fencing European Confederation Athlete’s Commission and she also speaks Italian at an advanced level. While she is managing intense sports life, she also works for the one of the most well known Australian online book companies, Fishpond, as an e-commerce manager of Amazon EU accounts. Irem is currently fighting for the quota for the 2024 Paris Olympics to represent our country in the Olympics for the third time.

Cem Anıl Arslan (IE), yönetim danışmanlığı alanında faaliyet gösteren McKinsey & Company firmasında veri bilimi uzmanı olarak çalışıyor. Enerji sektöründe analitik çalışmalar yapan Cem, endüstri mühendisliği öğreniminde kazandığı optimizasyon teknikleri ve makine öğrenmesi bilgilerini analitik yetenekleriyle birleştirerek enerji sektöründe kârlılığı artırmaya yönelik çalışmalar ve aynı zamanda karbon ayak izinin azaltılmasına yönelik projeler yürütüyor.

Cem, Özyeğin Üniversitesi’nde Endüstri Mühendisliği eğitiminin yanı sıra Bilgisayar Mühendisliği yan dal eğitimini de aldı. 2017’de bölüm birincisi olarak mezun olan Cem, Yapay Zeka alanındaki yüksek lisansını KU Leuven’de yüksek onur derecesiyle tamamladı. Hâlen çalışmakta olduğu McKinsey & Company firmasında enerji sektörü çalışmalarına odaklanarak aralarında Türkiye, Tayland, Malezya ve Azerbaycan’ın da yer aldığı pek çok ülkede projeler geliştirdi.

Projelerinde karmaşık kimyasal reaksiyonlar ve çeşitli optimizasyon algoritmalarına dayalı makine öğrenme teknikleri kullanarak kârlılığı artıracak modeller geliştirdi. Cem, danışmanlık görevlerine ek olarak, analitik modellerin etkin şekilde kullanılabilecei doğru bir yazılım altyapısını kurma ve bu yapının kullanıcılar tarafından benimsenmesini sağlayarak, analitik çözümlerin gerçek sonuçlar üretmesini destekleyici dijital dönüşümü yönetme görevlerini de sürdürüyor. Daha verimli operasyonlar sayesinde de hem karbon izini, hem de hammadde tüketimini azaltıcı projeleriyle Cem, Dünya Ekonomi Forumu’nda adından söz ettirdi.
