We Welcome Our New Students and Faculty During 2023-2024 Orientation Program

We organized the “OzU Orientation Program” from September 28 to 30, 2023 for our new students and faculty to familiarize them with both our campus and our university processes before they embark on their first academic year at our University.

Organized by the Office of the Dean of Students, the new student orientation hosted our new preparatory and freshman students on different days, with a program customized for their specific level and needs. The third day of the student orientation was packed with a diverse array of programs for international students. Roughly 200 peer advisors and student volunteers accompanied our incoming class of 2023 throughout the day’s program during which they had the opportunity to obtain extensive information about our University and campus, and meet their peers at a broad spectrum of social activities.

Throughout the orientation, our Rector, Prof. Dr. Esra Gençtürk had the opportunity to meet not only the new members of our OzU family but also their parents. Prof. Dr. Esra Gençtürk also attended new faculty orientation organized by our Human Resources team.
