Özyeğin University Named Among the Top Turkish Universities in Three Categories in COHE's 2023 University Monitoring and Assessment General Report

The 2023 edition of the Council of Higher Education’s University Monitoring and Assessment General Report has been released. Published annually since 2019, the report is intended to oversee and assess the performance of higher education institutions in Türkiye across a broad spectrum of performance indicators. This year marks the fifth edition of the general report, compiled based on the annual institutional assessment reports prepared for each university throughout the year.

According to the 2023 general report, Özyeğin University has been named among the top universities in Türkiye in three categories. The report ranks universities across a wide range of performance indicators in different areas, including scientific production, academic performance, university-industry cooperation, research and development activities, internationalization, community service, social responsibility, and sustainability. Accordingly, Özyeğin University’s placements in the rankings are as follows:

• Top third university in the Green University Index, and concurrently the Best Foundation University in this ranking.
• One of the top five universities in the Sustainable Life Index.
• One of the top three universities with consistent development based on the number of internationally funded projects in view of past university data.
