Sector Representatives Meet at Özyeğin University on the EVATEG INDUSTRY DAY II!

In observance of the second edition of the EVATEG Industry Day, sector representatives in the field of LED and TV Technologies will come together at a conference to be held in the Reşat Aytaç Auditorium on Özyeğin University Çekmeköy Campus on June 18, 2014, at 13:30 in a quest to learn more about the projects and ongoing activities of the EVATEG Center and join EVATEG.

Founded under the auspices of Özyeğin University with the support of the Ministry of Development and Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology last year, EVATEG is formed of more than 10 national and international universities, over 15 national and international organizations, and more than 5 public subsidiaries. Funded by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP, GEF and YEGM) and thus expanded its field of research to TV technologies, the EVATEG project entails thermal, optical and electrical modellings, measurements and R&D in the field of LED-OLED/TV-Monitor technologies in three different world-class R&D laboratories.  Furthermore, the mobile LEDOID demonstration center offered applied trainings to thousands of visitors about lighting and energy efficiency in Şile. Again, within the scope of the project, the international Solidstate Lighting Workshop was organized in Şile between August 20 and 21, 2013.
During the conference, the representatives of the Ministry of Energy, United Nations, industry and academia will share recent developments about the latest technologies and funding opportunities; and introduce their laboratories.
