“Pandemic and Responsibility: Corporations, Society, State” - Sustainability Talks 15 - Webinar

The 15th edition of the “Sustainability Talks” series will focus on the actions of corporations toward the benefit of society under the pandemic - or, in more general terms, under the crisis - conditions. In the light of the dataset compiled by Özyeğin Social Investments on the actions of national and international corporations that benefit society during the pandemic, the talk will explore the interactions among corporations, society and the state within the context of responsibility, while also looking into the social, economic, and political context in which corporations exists.

The webinar will be moderated by Prof. Dr. Ümit Özlale, Economics Department Head at Özyeğin University, and will feature Yasemin Sırali, Director of Özyeğin Social Investments, Associate Prof. Evren Balta, International Relations Department Head at Özyeğin University, and Dr. Emre Soyer (Soyer Decision Advisory) as invited panelists.The event will take place via Zoom on Wednesday, July 15, from 15:00 to 16:00.
