Happy Walk with Sport Center

If you have ever seen the old photos of the Çekmeköy Campus, you must have noticed the unique ever-green forest spanning across our Quad Area. Unfortunately, this beautiful pine forest no longer exists. Istanbul Regional Directorate of Forestry has recently notified us that the trees were cut as part of a rehabilitation effort in line with the Technical Forestry Principles. Regardless of what the reason might be, as advocates of a sustainable green world, we are deeply saddened by the loss of these beautiful trees.  So, as an entrepreneurial university, we have decided to be a part of the solution and fulfill our responsibility for restoring this area back to its former green self.
