EMRE AROLAT

Emre Arolat, after graduating from Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University in Istanbul, Emre joined his parent’s architecture firm Arolat Architecture, founded by Şaziment ve Neşet Arolat. In 2004, he established his own firm EAA – Emre Arolat Architecture with co-founder Gonca Paşolar. As the lead designer, Arolat conducts several international architectural projects in various locations with a world-wide team operating in Istanbul, London, and New York. Along with his architecture practice, Arolat, held a professorship at the International Academy of Architecture.  He is frequently invited to serve on high-profile juries, and to visiting professorships at various prominent universities and academic institutions worldwide such as the Center for Architecture, the Architecture League of New York, Pratt Institute, Cooper Union, RIBA London, Yale School of Architecture.

Being a member of RIBA, Arolat received many prominent national and international awards, including the Mies Van der Rohe Award for European Architecture, Aga Khan Award for Architecture, WAF (World Architecture Festival), London RIBA International Prize, National Architecture Award, Excellence Award by Kadir Has University, MSGSÜ Osman Hamdi Bey Award.
