Psychological Development Unit - Post-Pandemic Life Sharing Group

The Covid-19 Pandemic, which affected the whole world, has also been effective in our country since March 2020. In this process of experiencing personal and social difficulties, some of us lost loved ones, some of us suffered financial losses, and some of us struggled with the difficulties of social isolation. As of the 2021-2022 Academic Year, the transition to hybrid education has started and the process of re-adjustment to social life has begun. The 2022-2023 Academic Year was a period in which social normalization steps increased after the pandemic and face-to-face education started again.

Dear students, we invite you to come together in the "Life After Pandemic Sharing Group" to share our experiences about the pandemic process and after, and to gain different perspectives in the light of these shares.

Sharing groups are group activities with structured content, in which the participants share their experiences about the common situation in a safe environment, accompanied by an expert psychologist, without the purpose of informing. "Post-Pandemic Life Sharing Group" will be held under the management of Psychological Development Unit (PDU) Psychological Counselors. The sharing group will be organized with 4-8 people, pre-registration will be taken from the participants, event information will be sent to the registered people by e-mail. If the minimum number of people is not met, the event will not take place, and those who pre-registered will be informed via e-mail. If the number of pre-registration is high, the event will be repeated for groups of 8 people according to the order of application, and those who pre-registered will be informed by e-mail.

Sharing group will be held face-to-face and will be held during the PDU Dormitory Office working hours for the participation of our students staying in the dormitory, and during the PDU Day Office working hours for the participation of all our students.
