Exploring OOpportunities in UAV and Spatial Data Production Seminar

Assoc. Dr. Hüseyin Yurtseven is a faculty member at Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa, Faculty of Forestry, Department of Surveying and Cadastre. His areas of expertise encompass high-resolution satellite data and image analysis, digital terrain modeling, geographical information systems, and the application of UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) in various fields, particularly in mapping and related applications.

Assoc. Dr. Hüseyin Yurtseven has an impressive academic and professional background, with more than 45 publications in both national and international journals and contributed a chapter to an international book. His research and expertise have extended to his participation in 14 national and international projects.

Furthermore, he holds the position of editor-in-chief at the internationally indexed FORESTIST Journal. In addition to his academic work, since 2020, he has been actively engaged as a Commercial Pilot Training Instructor for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) and UHA (Unmanned Helicopter Aircraft) at Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa's Continuing Education Center.
