MAKErobot Certificate Program

The program is open to all students, and will cover three main topics: coding, electronics, and mechanical design. During the program, participants will receive training on the entire building process of a functional four-wheeled mecanum robot, including coding, electronic connections, mechanical design, assembly, and production. By the end of program, each group is expected to showcase their own mecanum robot. The mecanum robot must flawlessly execute the specified maneuvers, be controllable remotely, and successfully accomplish similar other assigned tasks. This is a group project, and participants are expected to contribute to the completion of the group project by focusing on a specific area within the team. Each team is required to add an additional feature to the existing robot to be eligible for graduation.

The program will primarily take place face-to-face at Openfab, with some classes being offered online. Classes to take place in the workshop will be held once a week, depending on the participants' availability. The program will last 5 weeks in total, and an additional week will be granted to students to complete their projects after the classes are finished. Students who demonstrate consistent attendance, duly complete the given exercises, and successfully complete the project will be eligible to receive a certificate.
