Law of Obligations Certificate Program

The Özyeğin University Law Faculty organizes the Law of Obligations Certificate Program between February 4 and February 19, 2012.

The Turkish Law of Obligations No:6098 that will enter into force as of 01.07.2012 preserves the fundamentals of the Law of Obligations that is currently in effect. However, the Turkish Law of Obligations includes substantially different arrangements compared to the current Law of Obligations. While some of these amendments are based on the provisions of the Swiss Code of Obligations, it is fair to say that most of the amendments are made based on the acceptable solutions provided in the doctrine and the verdicts of the Court of Appeals. The main objective of the certificate program is to inform participants about amendments in the Turkish Law of Obligations as well as potential practical issues and their solutions following the enforcement of the new law of obligations.
