Talk with Film Director Özgür Doğan

We cordially invite you to a talk by Özgür Doğan, Director of “2 Dil 1 Bavul”, on Thursday at 09:00 in the School of Economics and Administrative Sciences Building.



Chronicling one academic year of a newly graduated Turkish teacher who was appointed to a Kurdish village, On the Way to School examines the issues of multilingualism and education from the perspective of an idealist teacher who tries to “tuck two languages in a suitcase” and from the perspective of children whose native language is Kurdish.

The event will be held under the auspices of the Literature Club on March 7, Thursday at 09:00 in G30 the School of Economics and Administrative Sciences Building.

We are looking forward to seeing all Özyeğiners among us at this talk with Özgür Doğan, who has represented our country and earned several awards in national and international film festivals.
