The European Entrepreneurship Colloquium 2013 will take place on 30 June- 6 July 2013 at Ozyegin University, Istanbul, Turkey.

The EEC 2013 is managed by EFER in collaboration with Ozyegin University, Istanbul, Turkey.

Objectives

European Entrepreneurship Colloquium (EEC) aims to:

• Provide a forum where the participants can learn about interactive teaching methods, including the use of case method, drawing upon the extensive experience of the Harvard Business School and leading universities across Europe.
• Develop and update skills in teaching entrepreneurship.
• Develop and update skills in teaching entrepreneurship
• Experience the latest thinking in the field of entrepreneurship through interaction with leading academics and practitioners.
• Increase interaction with entrepreneurial practitioners in teaching and curriculum development.
• Generate more committed professors and educators to entrepreneurship.
• Accelerate cross-border exposure of universities and faculty.

Outcomes

EEC enabled the participants to achieve the following learning outcomes:

• Understanding of new teaching Pedagogies that draw on current entrepreneurship practices and are responsive to the needs of local economic and social development.
• Understanding of interactive learning approaches and how this can help to develop effective and tailored programmes at their local institutions.
• Gaining practical know-how of devising, writing and teaching case studies.
• Exposure of real world business experiences and challenges of entrepreneurs, investors and how this can integrate and interact in classroom teaching.
• Building a network of professors/teachers and practitioners on a cross- border, cross-institution basis.

Fees and Applications

The fee is 1700 Euro which includes tuition, course materials, accommodations, and most meals during the programme. Travel expenses are not included.
