Becoming Local
On November 20-23, 2013 our Faculty of Architecture and Design will host a four-day annual meeting of the AESOP thematic group of Public Spaces and Urban Cultures in Istanbul, Turkey. The aim of the meeting is to share international and interdisciplinary perspectives in studies of public spaces and urban cultures under the theme of ‘Becoming Local’.
The meeting will be dedicated to the presentations and discussions of high quality work of scholars and practitioners who will reflect on the theme from different perspectives. In addition, the meeting will include a field-trip and a workshop in Istanbul.
