Air Transportation Seminars: Airline Planning and Functions

The School of Aviation at Özyeğin University organized a seminar on Aviation Planning and Functions on December 1st, 2015. Ms. Semra Erener Özalçın, Chief Commercial Officer at AtlasGlobal Airlines, joined us as our invited speaker to share her knowledge and experience with our students. Ms. Özalçın provided an overview about AtlasGlobal Airlines including its operational structure  and services and offered in-depth information to our students about aviation sector and airlines and their main functions. The seminar was followed by a    question and answer session in which Ms. Özalçın  asked questions to our students and presented an AtlasGlobal Model Aircraft to students who gave the right answers. Ms. Özalçın also held a draw in which winners received round-trip tickets or simulator flight rides.

*Who is Semra Erener Özalçın?

Semra Erener Özalçın works as Chief Commercial Officer at AtlasGlobal Airlines. Ms. Özalçın worked as Route&Revenue Management, Sales and Marketing Director at Atlasjet from 2014 to 2015. Between  2010 and 2012 Ms. Özalçın was a consultant at Hitit Computer Services. In 2010 Ms. Özalçın served as Commercial Director at Turkuaz Airlines. From 1995 to 2010 she took various positions at Turkish Airlines, five of which were managerial positions.
