Sustainability Talks 2 - Alternative Energy and Sustainable Development
Ozyegin University Sustainability Platform is organizing Sustainability Talks as part of our university’s 10th Anniversary Events. The talk series focuses on different dimensions of sustainability with the aim of deepening our knowledge leading to broadening our vision. The second talk of the series has been a panel on Alternative Energy and Sustainable Development.
The moderator of the panel was our faculty Dr Göktürk Poyrazoğlu and the panelists were Dr Sylvia Borbonus, Senior Researcher at International Advanced Sustainability Studies and Dr Osman Bülent Tör, Managing Partner and Director of EPRA Electric and Energy. In the panel, the importance of alternative energy for sustainable development was discussed in detail both at a more general level and for Turkey specifically.
