Sustainability Talks 3 - Sustainability in Turkish Business Context and in TOFAS

Ozyegin University Sustainability Platform is organizing Sustainability Talks as part of our university’s 10^th Anniversary Events.  The talk series focuses on different dimensions of sustainability with the aim of deepening our knowledge leading to broadening our vision. 

 The third talk titled Sustainability in Turkish Business Context and in TOFAŞ was held with the participation of two distinguished guests from TOFAŞ: Mr. Güray Karacar, External Relations Director and Mr. Volkan Varal, Environmental Systems Manager.  In his talk Mr. Karacar dwelled on his personal experience on how the notion of sustainability surfaced and promulgated in Turkish businesss context and the stragetic approach of TOFAŞ towards sustainability underlining the importance of integrated reporting.  Subsequently, Mr. Varal focused on the practical side of sustainability in TOFAŞ.
