Our Traditional Alumni Trip Takes Our Class of 2016 to Greece This Year...

Since we awarded our first diplomas to our first cohort of graduates in 2012, we have been organizing an international cultural trip each year for our new graduates. This year, we have taken our Class of 2016 on a trip. The first stop of this year’s international cultural trip was Greece...

The trip is being organized from May 17 to May 21, and our Rector Prof. Dr. Esra Gençtürk is also attending the trip.  Dr. Tankut Barış Aktemur, a faculty member at the Department of Computer Science who was named the Most Favored Faculty by the class of 2016, and Ms. Banu Polat, an administrative staff member at the Faculty of Engineering who was named the Most Favored Staff Member by the Class of 2016, are also accompanying our alumni during this trip.

Among our Class of 2016, Muhammed Waqas Hamid and Raya Hamidu Majallah have joined our trip from Amsterdam, and  Tanzania, respectively.

This year, 24 graduates attended the trip. As part of their itinerary, our alumni will visit Thessaloniki, Athens, and Kavala, respectively.
